Restorative classes will vary by the needs of the client but will always begin with some guided breathwork. Learning to breathe deeply and with control is the basis for our stress management program.
Following the breathwork, we will work through a series of prop supported/restorative poses which allow you to fully relax. We stay in those poses for approximately 10 minutes before moving slowly on to the next pose.
At the end of a restorative class, we may have a yoga nidra (yogic sleep) or guided meditation session depending on the needs of the students.
