What type of classes do I offer?

Restorative Yoga classes will vary by the client but will always begin with some guided breathwork. Learning to breathe deeply and with control is the basis for our stress management program.

Following the breathwork, we will work through a series of supported/restorative poses which allow you to fully relax. We stay in those poses for approximately 5-10 minutes before moving slowly on to the next pose. At the end of a restorative class, we may have a yoga nidra (yogic sleep) or guided meditation session depending on the needs of the students.

Pre & Post Natal Yoga classes are for all you moms- to- be out there. These classes will help you connect with your baby and your body, preparing you for childbirth and beyond. Each week we will explore poses which can help with the special demands pregnancy puts on your body while helping you connect with your breath and learn to support your body through discomfort and labor.

There will be no more than 2 moms- to- be in this class at my home studio but if I come to you, we can look at the available space and work to accommodate a small group of friends.  These classes are kept to one hour.

Beginner's Yoga – if you’re new to yoga or would like to try small classes where you can receive more individual guidance this is the place for you. We will move slowly with lots of direction and demonstration so that you can learn at your own pace and be sure you’re practicing safely and to your own limits.

I can design classes to suit every need from Introduction to Yoga, Restorative,  Mindful Movement & Prenatal Yoga.
