I was so fortunate today to be able to attend two workshops at Cherry Blossom Yoga with Max Strom. 'The WHO has stated that by 2020, depression and anxiety will be the #1 disability.' Breath work, especially combined with mindful movement, can have the most amazing impact on those struggling with anxiety. Many of my students have told me that simply learning how to breathe properly and more fully has had an incredible impact on how they handle daily stresses. If you have 18 minutes, give this video a watch. It's really interesting and he teaches a basic breath exercise about 14 minutes in which some of you will have done with me already!
